Meng Keopichda’s marriage ended
Phnom Penh Municipality court issued a verdict of divorce between popular singer Meng Keopichda and her husband Moung Khim on April 06, 2010. Since then, their marriage ties ended. Ms. Pichda has rights to raise and take care of a son and a daughter. During the hearing, Meng Keopichta was present along with her family but her husband was absent at that time.
Their marriage’s trouble had happened since at the end of 2009. Ms. Pichda filed a divorce complaint on November 10, 2009 with Phnom Penh Municipality court to have rights to take care of kids and share common property.
On December 08, 2009, the court summoned both to court in order to compromise but not successful. The main causes for getting divorce, Ms. Pichda was quoted by local magazine as saying that her husband lost gambling thousand dollars, has relationship with other girls, and committed a domestic violence.
Over 5 yeas, they had lived together after getting marriage with a son and a daughter. Even she got marriage already, but our popularity is still supported by Cambodian fans, and she does not stay away from singing career.
Before getting married to Moung Khim, she had relationship with Cambodian-Aunstralian man and later their relation was broken.
