Pailin Province
“Sandwiched between the Tonle Sap and Thailand, Pailin was a major gem mining and logging area, under Khmer Rouge control until 1997. After its integration, Pailin became a municipality and other businesses have developed. It us Cambodian’s smallest province at just 1,000km2 though over 20,000 people live there.”
